Depalletizing Work Cell
The Depalletizing Work Cell is a labor saving work cell that quickly and safely moves heavy loads of cumbersome aluminum beams in a metered fashion from a pallet onto a conveyor. Various sensors are used to recognize whether or not beams are present for loading from two different pallet bays, whether or not the conveyor is available to receive beams, and even which types and size of beams are present for pickup so the robot can adjust accordingly. Additionally, the spacers which separate the layers of beams on the pallet are swept away into bins for recycling or storage. Very little operator intervention is required for this efficient cell to run properly.
